Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

The 2026 International Conference of Movement Science and Technology invites original research contributions that advance the science and application of resilient mobility across the lifespan, supported by intelligent technologies and guided by a One Health framework.

Building on the conference continuum-2024: Beyond Boundaries: Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Movement Science and 2025: Innovating Health: Integrating Robotics and AI in Movement Science-the 2026 conference expands the focus from individual technologies to integrated, system-level solutions that promote mobility, function, and health across diverse populations, environments, and life stages.

This theme reflects the recognition that movement is a foundational determinant of health, linking individuals to their physical, social, and technological environments. In alignment with Purdue University's One Health initiative, the conference emphasizes interconnected health systems, and with Purdue Compute, it highlights the role of scalable computation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven discovery. Purdue's academic strengths in Engineering and Health and Human Sciences provide a natural foundation for interdisciplinary exchange among scientists, engineers, clinicians, and technologists.

We welcome basic, applied, computational, and translational research that demonstrates how intelligent systems can enhance mobility resilience, adaptability, and functional independence across the lifespan.
